Foyer is an AI-powered phone receptionist service operated by Naptown Labs ("we," "us," "our"). This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our service at foyer.naptownlabs.dev.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account information: Email address, business name, phone numbers, and business hours provided during registration.
• Call recordings and transcripts: Audio recordings and AI-generated transcripts of calls handled by your AI receptionist.
• Call metadata: Phone numbers, call duration, timestamps, and call outcomes (appointment booked, message taken, transfer, etc.).
• Billing data: Payment information processed securely through Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers on our servers.
• Usage data: Pages visited, features used, and analytics to improve the service.

3. AI Processing

Foyer uses artificial intelligence to answer calls, understand caller intent, book appointments, and generate message summaries. Call audio is processed in real time by our AI voice provider (Bland.ai) and is not used to train third-party AI models. Call transcripts and summaries are stored in your account for your review.

4. Twilio and Telephony

We use Twilio to provision phone numbers and route calls. Twilio processes call data in accordance with their own privacy policy. Phone numbers assigned to your account are managed through Twilio's infrastructure.

5. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the AI receptionist service.
• To process calls, book appointments, and deliver message summaries.
• To process payments and manage your subscription.
• To send service-related notifications (call summaries, account alerts).
• To improve the service and fix issues.

6. Data Retention

Call recordings and transcripts are retained for the duration of your active subscription. You can delete individual call records from your dashboard at any time. When you cancel your account, all associated data is deleted within 30 days.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share information only with service providers necessary to operate Foyer (Twilio for telephony, Bland.ai for AI voice processing, Stripe for billing, Google Calendar for appointment sync). Each provider processes data under their own privacy policies.

8. Security

We use HTTPS encryption for all data in transit, secure database storage, and follow industry-standard practices to protect your information. Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel.

9. Your Rights

You can access, export, or delete your data at any time through your dashboard or by contacting us. If you are located in the EU, UK, or California, you may have additional rights under GDPR or CCPA.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the site. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
